hot weather activities

Any recommendations for good, cheap indoor activities for little kids (I have a 2-year-old) when the weather is so hot that parks are oppressive? We go to storytime at the library or Barnes & Noble sometimes, and we hit the Museum of Arts & Sciences on Monday afternoons sometimes because it's free at that time for Bibb County residents. Then we run dry on ideas and Munchkin gets stir crazy.

I don't know where you live but the Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins is fun to visit, not to mention free.  The airplanes are fascinating to kids and adults of all ages.  There is also a casual restaurant and a playground, weather permitting.

Good suggestion! We had never been. My husband and I took our daughter on Saturday and she was really excited about the planes.
