HELP!! Seeking good day care recommendation
I followed my own advice from the previous post but I'm in a time-bind. My daughter's day care, which we loveloveloved, notified us two days ago that they are closing in 30 days. I won't even go into how angry I am that they gave us so little notice, and at a time of year when it's almost impossible to get a child into a decent day care quickly. We don't have it half as bad as the staff, many of whom worked there for decades, or the parents of disabled children, who will have even more trouble finding placements for their kids elsewhere, if they can do it at all. But I am hitting nothing but LONG waiting lists for any place north/mid Macon that isn't a chain, with the exception of Wee Ones at Wesleyan Drive Baptist. Do people have any other suggestions? My daughter is getting to the age when she really likes having the time with other kids, but I'm also considering trying to find a nanny since I only work part time. I also would be open to home day cares with someone good, but I really would want a recommendation before putting my daughter in someone's home and I don't know Macon well enough to know good home day cares.
Any help you can provide will be vastly appreciated...
