So who has a good story about something ridiculous you did while totally sleep-deprived as a new parent?
My husband woke me up one night jiggling the bed like magic fingers. While awake, he had been continually jiggling our newborn, who had colic, to get her to stop crying. In his sleep he was clutching a pillow like it was the baby and jiggling one foot for all he was worth. When I blearily asked what he was doing, he said, "I have the baby." I sat straight up in bed, yelling "WHAT?!" because we didn't sleep with our baby. He then sat up too and looked down at the pillow in his hands. We got a good laugh out of it.
